The first step in making your own armor or weapons is to smelt your ore into bars. To do this, you will need to use one of the many furnaces located throughout Gielinor. Take your ore obtained via Mining or from the Grand Exchange and click a furnace. This will enable you to deposit all ores from within your inventory into the Metal Bank — Far Left side of the window youtibe. This bank will enable you to avoid bank redork when creating any items as you can deposit all ores excluding Corrupted ore into it. Once ores have been added, you will then be able miming select to desired bars to create in the middle section. The far Right section provides information about levels required and experience gained as well as how many you can make per session — note that bars will still go to your inventory after being made so you will need to add to your Metal Bank if desired. You can gjide use magic to smelt your bars if that is more your style. This is done by using the level 43 spell «Superheat Item» spell. It requires 1 Nature rune and 4 Fire runes to cast this spell. When smelting ores into bars, you will be limited to your inventory space for the maximum amount you can ykutube in any given session as bars will show up. If you desire to have them automatically show up in your metal bank upon creation, you will need to be wearing Smithing gauntlets — at that point you will be able to make up to 60 bars per session.
So basically while this method is trumped by the Limpwurt Roots method presuming you have at least 20 levels in dungeoneering , it can be usefull for beginner players, or simply players with a decent combat level, but low enough stats not to be able to use more effective ways to earn money. While I’m uncertain of the exact level Deadly Red Spiders stop attacking you, I do know collecting their eggs are very profiteable, especially for F2P. Their specific spawn locations and spawn times can be located [here] [1]. One may need to switch to an empty ish world to efficiently farm these things, but yeah Pretty decent somewhat beginner’s method! Basically precursor to the Limpwurt root one. I’ve been crafting mud runes for a while now, and I’m not too sure why it’s not listed on the guides list. It’s great profit per hour, I can’t give an exact number, but it’s definitely between 1. It is a full RuneScape beta, meaning players can access all content with no area restrictions and try out all of the new mechanics the team has been working on. Players could join the beta simply by connecting from their RuneScape account. On entering one of the beta worlds, players are placed in front of twelve shops that provide them with the content as if they were in a sandbox world. RuneScape Mining rework includes many new features. For example, there are some new ores available to mine — luminite, drakolith, necrite, phasmatite, bane, dark animica, light animica, living rock, and elder runite ore. Ore gathering is now independent from experience and uses a progression mechanic instead. New mechanics such as Rockertunities and Stamina now heavily reward the player to be active while mining. Upon mining, a nearby ore of the same type will start to glow. Upon clicking it rewards the player with 5x the xp for that swing and additional progress. Another new feature is the ore bag. It is similar to the coal or gem bags. This new RuneScape item is to replace the coal bag once released. The ore bag holds ores inside of it. Each rock has an xp multiplier. This value is multiplied with the progress made per swing to determine the XP drop. Last but not least, instead of giving a mining bonus pickaxes now have two new stats: Mining progress and Rock penetration. RuneScape Smithing rework includes many new features too. For example, the furnace now contains a hopper. This allows the players to place unlimited amounts of ore inside, which allows them to be smelted in rapid succession. Smithing ingot into armour, weapon or tools is also approached differently. Players choose which item to smith at a forge and are then given an in-progress smithing object. This is then heated at the forge, filling up a bar above players head. It represents the heat the item has. The higher the object heat, the faster its smithing is. Another new feature is that items above bronze can now be upgraded to become stronger. But each item can be upgraded a certain amount of times, depending on the tier of its metal. Smithing XP of any item is determined by the total of bars used for that particulat item. As one of the most requested updates for the RuneScape 3 game for some time, Mining and Smithing update is ahead of the full rollout in the near future. Get updates first.

Tonix RS. How did you get this calculation Tony? This method doesn’t give you any profit anymore. In fact, you’re losing money. Just updating so everyone knows. Just checked the prices today. Note: The var is 3,, aka, the extra bars. If you make a similar amount of extra bars as Tonix RS’s calculations, you’ll make about 4,gp, but it’s a gamble. This method isn’t worth it at this point. Jagex prices are so outdated and it’s not even been 1 week. They need to do a better job updating.
Superheat actually gives you a chance for extra bar, which will be directly sent to your metal bank as usual. With GOTE and an ancient elven ritual shard you can superheat form without needing to use any prayer pots. Can maby even do it without GOTE i havent tried, the drain rate is super low.

I’m now looking for some beginner-guides because the games differ quite a bit. All guides I could find on YouTube however assume you know everything already ex: use an elven charm thingy, I don’t know what it is or does or where to get it. Also if you are a creator who plays both: I think there is a considerate audience like me, osrs’er who want to get into rs3. A series which assumes knowledge of OS and apply it. Guides4usall has a pretty good ironman series for rs3. It goes over a bunch of stuff just gotta pay attention. Maikeru has a zero to hero series where he starts a new account, and plays through the game from start, all the way to max. It’s not an ironman, but he does make all his own money to buy the gear and levels he wants. If you follow along with that, you can pick something he does, and look up a more in depth guide. Most of the early game is similar to osrs. GuidesForUsAll has a «From Scratch» series so that’s a good progression series while also doing osrs content.
