If your salary then do the math and post that hourly rate. I feel like everyone is better off with a general idea of what wages are at and how to appropriately ask for cgs if needed. I’ll post mine in a comment. I koney left CVS, but I was with the company for 8 years and was making I’m now at an EASY office job with a lot less stress and a lot better schedule making Mood: halfway out the door, wont shut the door until I get a job in the field I went to college for finishing this summer or fall. Love my team, monet corporate with a passion. Overnight cashier 4 years. Im kind of annoyed.
If you think it’s through its large chain of retail pharmacies, you’d be wrong.

Money Handling I have always wondered if the way we handle money at my store is weirdly lenient or umm inappropriate? It has only worsened under my new manager since she is only there hours a week rarely 40 hours and in general is just not as experienced or passionate. We leave our change drawer unlocked for cashiers to make their own change. No one does randoms audits the drawers. The A. My manager has me type in a balanced amount so LP isn’t alerted. Our safe is off 50 percent of the time it is usually over but it has been under by outrageous amounts. For example our safe is over 86 dollars and has been for over 2 weeks now. My SM didn’t even know what the safe was set to when I asked her one day because I wanted to make sure it was balanced and my count was accurate before I ran upstairs to enter the amount and I couldn’t remember if it was or She had no clue. Is this normal? When do they usually come in? Do they come in biannually? Also do they check the refund review logs? No one other than me and the past supervisor has been doing them. They can come in whenever however it largely depends on your stores risk classification. You don’t want them to come into the store and the SM start to blame you or the other sups. If the safe is off, put it as off. Cover your ass. If everything with your name is accurate and by the book you’ll be good. Otherwise they could fuck you for not reporting and being part of the problem. This has been going on for awhile I also have texts that prove my manager has told me to just put in a balanced imprest count. Yes, they should. Yeah they will probably keep it anonymous. They will most likely make a «surprise» visit to confirm what you have reported, but since you did you will most likely not have any repercussions. But also, my store is classified «green» and we leave the front change drawer unlocked so our cashiers can make change, but we count that drawer when we put it in and when we take it out.
Welcome to Reddit,

What are all the other cashier people’s thoughts about their position? I used to work in a call center as a high level manager, and stepping down to a part time position as a cashier has been wonderful for me. I have already made many friends make sure you do your best! We have a few cashiers who everyone just hates. I like seeing customers smile, and I always try and save them more money. They have a lot of tips for me when I use coupons too. That being said, there are some little things that the company could do better. Also, the cashier analysis report is really dumb. Our store Investigates the top 3 folks with SRAs daily. Which then puts me on the report for high dollar transaction voids xD. Yeah, I get the concept of it too. I definitely see it being useful for high volume stores and high FS sale stores to control losses. Yeah im friends with all the supervisors and I don’t really try I guess, but that said I just am super friendly and like to be that way I suppose. The only annoyance is the fact that when its tag day and I have to do the front store, but can’t get into a rhythm because of customers every 15 minutes, but thats not a real annoyance. Oh and people who get mad when their coupon gets rejected and then becomes rude. Ofc, standard job. I love it a lot more than when I did dishwashing before CVS. All in All i have had a lot less stress and can have a pretty enjoyable life while oddly enough making more.

CVS Health Corp. To reach this enormous sum, every man, woman, and child in the U. I know I didn’t spend that much at CVS pharmacies last reddti, and I’ll bet most of you didn’t. Where does all that money come from? Well, multiple sales channels flow into Maes Health’s total revenue stream. One outweighs all others, and it probably isn’t the one you’re most familiar.
The single largest component of CVS Health’s top line is its pharmacy benefits managerwhich is basically a middleman between companies that make drugs and the PBM’s clients. One reason the company’s PBM revenue is growing steadily has to do with America’s increasing reliance on drugs. Intotal spending on prescription medicines rose maks. Overall spending trends aren’t the only reason we can reasonably expect CVS Health’s PBM xvs to continue climbing over the long term.
Representing more patients gives a PBM greater leverage reddot negotiate lower prices from drugmakers, and CVS Health has more leverage than any of its competitors.
If Anthem refuses to renew its contract with Express Scripts inas it’s widely expected to do, CVS Health’s ma,es could widen much. Although the company’s PBM is responsible for a majority of its top line, margins in this industry are terribly slim.
This means when it comes to generating profits the company can return to shareholders, its retail and long-term care operations are far and away the most important. Late mkes year, CVS Health announced an expected loss of about 40 million prescriptions due to new pharmacy network restrictions enacted by various insurers. As a result, same-store sales fell about 4.
Looking ahead, I expect the segment to return to growth. The company hasn’t announced any more network restrictions, and its recent acquisition of Omnicare gives it a big presence in the increasingly important long-term care market. Each day, roughly 10, baby boomers turn 65, and they’re expected to outlive previous generations. The long-term care facilities that revdit eventually house many of America’s older adults buy a lot of prescription drugs.
By acquiring Omnicare, CVS Health took on spoke pharmacies that handle new prescription orders for long-term care facilities, 32 of which employ automation technology to manage refills for the other spokes. Getting customers to buy more medicines and other goods for sale within the company’s network of 9, retail locations hasn’t joney easy lately.
Luckily, its MinuteClinic program is exceeding expectations. The same-store sales decline reported during the first quarter excludes revenue generated eeddit the company’s walk-in clinics. With 1, walk-in clinics spread throughout 33 states, CVS Health now operates the miney largest network of such facilities. That’s a big network, but the company still had 8, locations without MinuteClinics at the end of March, which suggests the program has a lot of reddit cvs makes so much money to grow.

Since I arrive at least 2 hours early and start verifying whole inventory people working in pharmacy do we get paid? We used to hey paid before but then we have a new DL refuse to pay saying he has no budget for this??!! Most of us work way more than our base inventory time to make sure Store is ready. In my district, pharmacists aren’t technically salary, so if extra hours have to be used, yes, the pharmacist would get paid for the extra hours. I’m not sure. In other monney, some store managers are hourly, but everyone in my district is salary. But, like I said, all the pharmacists here AR market are hourly. I’d speak to your pharmacy scheduler since they’re the ones responsible for doing your payroll. From what I understand it’s a weird middle ground between both hourly and salaried Hourly as in you get paid for the hours you cgs but salaried so they dont have to pay you overtime. Technically illegal to have us in both categories, but no one can band together and fight it. We had a DM that forced pharmacists to take vacation mqkes have our base hours reduced for one week if the store was closed on a holiday and it was our day to work. Called advice and counsel, called ethics line, called the regional manager and called an attorney. All CVS folks said it was legal and completely normal practice. However the attorney also said that to take this on single handedly would be incredibly stupid for moneh amount of money and I most certainly would lose more than I gain acting as one person against CVS. They know that the law is only as good as your are willing to pay to enforce, so the status quo will continue until there is a class cva. Me and other pharmacists contacted HR and some did ethics line, but nothing, all management team on same page and they support each other and will mudh support u, they always take advantage of u because everyone afraid of taking an action Rdedit wish one day if we can do strike, I really got sick of the mistreatment we receive. I just had inventory last week. Got there at 7 am. Left a little before 1 pm. My day off.
